The Canadian Organ & Tissue Donors Association (CODA) does not solicit funds from the public.

The Canadian Organ & Tissue Donors Association (CODA)would like to remind the public that we do not do telephone solicitation, we hold no fundraising activities related to organ and tissue donation and we have never given any kind of contract for such services to any organization. Transplant Québec frequently receives phone calls from citizens who have been solicited for donations to help children who need organ and tissue transplants. No representatives of Transplant Québec are authorized to request credit card numbers, social insurance numbers or driver’s licence numbers.

Transplant Québec has also received calls from worried citizens and would like to remind the public that it is in no way related to this telemarketing scheme to solicit funds.

People who have concerns about solicitation methods used to raise funds can contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, also known as Phone Busters, at 1 888 495-8501 or www.PhoneBusters.com.
